Perpetual Orange Dome is a conceptual vinyl album created to raise awareness of light pollution and celebrate the night sky at Cherry Springs State Park. Inspired by a description of city light as a “perpetual orange dome,” the design layers metaphor and environmental urgency into a bold visual system. The album sleeve features a darkened tree line and muted sky, while removing the inner sleeve reveals a vivid starlit scene, reflecting what is lost to light pollution.
